The Ratbirds Tree, a diminutive arboreal species, stands at a mere 3 feet in height. Its foliage is lush, with minute leaves outlined in gold, and it bears fruit resembling grey bananas. Cultivation

The Ratbirds Tree thrives in tropical soil. Its seeds must be interred with ash and irrigated with boiling water. Once fully matured after 2 years, its fruits can be harvested. However, these fruits spoil within a day of being picked and must be consumed within that time frame.

Applications

The fruit can be concocted into a cocktail that temporarily reduces the consumer’s size for 1 minute. The seeds, when crushed and inhaled along with cumin spices, induce a state where the consumer perceives time as moving rapidly, resulting in disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws and culminating in a point of exhaustion after 3 hours. During this period, sleep eludes the affected creature.
