Wizardsdeath

Description

The Wizardsdeath, a rare and enigmatic plant, thrives in regions pulsating with intense magical activity. Its deep red hue, accentuated by black outlines, forms a mesmerizing, swirling orb of weave at its core. The plant feeds on magic until it reaches a saturation point, undergoing a remarkable transformation into a species previously believed to be distinct - the Tree of Limbo.

Properties

The Wizardsdeath holds the unique ability to disrupt magical energy within its vicinity. Any spell
cast within a 10-foot radius of this plant is rendered ineffective. This disruption extends to magical items as well, which temporarily lose their enchantments within this radius.

Cultivation

Wizardsdeath favors regions abundant with magic. Traditional requirements like fertile soil or
regular watering are inconsequential as long as there’s magic to absorb. Propagation through cuttings is possible, with the magic-absorbing orb developing within a year. Remarkably, the orb retains its properties even after being harvested.

Applications

The orb of the Wizardsdeath is a key ingredient in concocting an anti-magic potion. A brew of
its petals simmered with lead and a beholder’s eye results in a potent potion. Consumption of this brew temporarily strips the drinker of all magical abilities for 1d4 days.
