It emits a faint buzzing sound, and as light static charge can be felt when in proximity to it.The plant flourishes in storm-prone areas and is often found growing in clusters at the base of tall structures like towers or cliffs.

Properties

The Buzzweb exhibits a unique interaction with electricity. When struck by lightning or targeted by a lightning spell, the plant absorbs the energy and redirects it to every other Buzzweb within a 30-foot radius, creating a web of lightning. Any creature within the path of this web must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 lightning damage.

Cultivation

Harvesting the Buzzweb necessitates rubber gloves and careful handling to avoid electrical discharge. The harvestable parts are its petals and seeds.

However, while connected, creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls and deception checks made on each other. The petals can be pressed into a sheet of paper that is resistant to burning.
