Angelshade Bush
Description
The Angelshade Bush, a medium-sized flora, flourishes in areas with a strong connection to the positive energy plane. These locales often encompass ancient burial grounds or sacred temples. The bush is characterized by its luminous green leaves that emit a soft, radiant light and small, white flowers that bloom at night. A faint, pleasant aroma surrounds the bush, reputed to repel undead creatures.
Properties
The Angelshade Bush possesses unique properties that make it a natural deterrent for undead. Any attempts to raise undead within a 30-foot radius of the bush are thwarted. Moreover, undead creatures that venture into this area suffer 1d4 radiant damage at the start of their turn.
Cultivation
Cultivating the Angelshade Bush can be achieved through seeds or cuttings. The seeds are nestled within the small, white flowers and can be planted in any soil type. While the bush prefers sunlight, it can tolerate shade. It requires moderate watering and is resistant to most pests and diseases. However, a picked leaf loses its radiant property after 1 minute.
Applications
The leaves of the Angelshade Bush have practical uses beyond their natural beauty. When mixed with chili and honey, they create a Radiant Paste. Upon application to the skin, this paste causes the user’s skin to emit a soft, protective light. Any undead creature that ends its turn within 5 feet of the user takes 1d4 radiant damage. This effect lasts for 1 hour.
